Life Is A Career Journey
After close to two decades in a variety of corporate HR leadership and advisory capacities with market-leading businesses, I made the rewarding decision to pivot into the Career Coaching space.
This was born from an inherent desire to help people maximise their career success, whatever that may look like. It also came as a result of changes in my own life and career.
After experiencing professional and personal change myself, and taking the proper time to reflect on it all, I realised what a delicate and complex process moving through a transition actually is. Mine came with many obstacles and challenges, it wasn’t easy - yet it led to growth and transformation.
I discovered ways to navigate through the changes and subsequently emerge on the other side with a deeper sense of understanding and purpose. As a result, I feel the need to share the lessons I learned with others and to help people with their career journeys.
This process of transformation, combined with my previous professional experience, led me to the path I’m on today - providing guidance and support to professionals looking to successfully land their next role or those looking to undertake a career change.
My approach is empathetic, yet it is also pragmatic and no-nonsense.
I recognise the importance of looking after mental health and wellbeing throughout the process. As a long time meditation practitioner and avid music listener, I’m fully aware of the positive benefits that mindfulness and extra-curricular activities provide. I strongly advocate for a wholistic approach as part of my broad career service.
I like to think I possess a decent sense of humour, so occasional ‘dad-jokes’ are likely to make an appearance. As the saying goes, if you can’t laugh at yourself, somebody else will, so you may as well beat them to it!
